The wire rope connection is a direct impact on the workshop gantry cranes safe use, in order to ensure the wire rope safety can achieve the requirements of workshop gantry cranes operation, should be in accordance with the relevant industry standards to connect. When connect the wire rope, ensure the steel wire rope rigidity, toughness, etc. will not change and reliable.

Workshop gantry crane pulley and wire rope connection procedure:

1. First truncate the wire rope. Bundle the both sides of wire rope with thin wire before truncate the wire rope, to avoid section loose.

2. Pay attention to avoid kinking, hard bending, rolling flat, shaving phenomenon, the roll of wire rope should be smooth out before winding.

3. The wire rope end should ensure strong enough, the fixed bolts should equip with locking device.

4. After the install the pulleys, should check its performance to ensure its rotation flexible, no jamming phenomenon.

5. During workshop gantry crane pulley connect with wire rope, the wire rope, pulleys, drums and the main, auxiliary hook should be wound according to the drawing requirements.
