Double girder gantry cranes have large carrying capacity, large span, the overall stability is good, variety kinds, its own quality is much better than the same lifting weight single girder gantry crane, and so cost is higher.

Single beam (single girder gantry crane)

Single girder gantry crane is simple structure, easy to manufacture and install, small dead weight. The single girder gantry crane main beams mainly are the partial rail box frame structure.

Compared with the double girder gantry crane, the single girder gantry crane overall stiffness is weaker. Therefore, when the lifting weight Q≤ 50t, span S ≤ 35m, can be used the single girder gantry crane.

Single girder gantry crane support legs have two types: L type and C type. L type is more easy to manufacture and install, better force condition, smaller crane weight. C type support legs is designed as inclined or curved, in order to have a larger horizontal space, so that the goods can be successfully through gantry crane gate.
