The Gantry Crane operator job responsibilities include the following:

1. Gantry Crane operator should go through the relevant skills training, and access to qualifications.

2. Gantry Crane operator should be familiar with the crane structure, technical performance, working principle, basic maintenance knowledge.

3. Before starting work, check whether there are any obstacles on the running track to ensure the work area is not affected.

4. In accordance with the maintenance provisions, inspect AND maintain the various items.

5. The open air gantry crane, should be release the rail clamping device (wind-proof device) before starting the machine, and clip after working completed.

6. Confirm thre is no one surrounding the gantry crane, then can shut off the main power switch.

7. Before shut off the main power switch, check whether the control handle is at zero.

8. Before operation, should check the brakes, hooks, safety devices and other, if there is abnormal condition, should be ruled out to work properly.

9. In operation, unrelated persons may not enter the cabin. During work, the operator should be attentive and can not chat with others.
